Talk about excited! Liam appeared in the doorway at 6.30am on Friday... already dressed in his uniform. "geez baby, you're red hot this morning!" I said. He said, "know what mum? I didn't want to be late, so I got up last night, got dressed into my uniform, and slept in it!" What a cracker that kid is.
He loved the zoo. We got to school nice and early, only to find his teacher was sick! Luckily they didn't send an ET along, they got the Art Teacher, Claire to go instead. At least she knows the kids. And thankfully his teacher Monica had alreay sorted everyone into groups (read: Split up the boistrus boys). They looked so little sitting up in the huge coaches, waving like crazy, and blowing kisses goodbye as they pulled away. All their little excited faces peering out the windows. Ahhhh I'll lap it up while it lasts. They were an hour late back. We had to wait in the rain. Mel and I took Ethan and Jasper into their classroom for a play with the toys. At least we were dry. The kids slept the whole way home on the bus. The teachers and mums looked like they needed to. Liam loved the hippos the best. And the pelicans. He also said he threw meat to a tiger. Not so sure about that one. Cheeky monkey!
And... I'm so proud of my littlest man. Much to his daddy's disgust, he's picked up one of my bad habbits. Something that prooves he is infact related to me, seeing as he is in all other ways, so like his daddy. Want to know what it is? It's a sound I make with my throat when I get that annoying itch that is kind of behind your ears, but also in your throat. Brett thinks I sound like a wild boar LOL. It's really not that bad... Ethan just came to the doorway and stood there doing it. LOL I don't think I've ever done it around him. Brett's just left for a business trip, so it's just me and the boys. I'm so tempted to call him and get Ethy to make the noise down the phone LOL. I realise this is probably only funny to me too ;)
