Brett had the wonderful idea this morning, just as we were waking up, that I should get my hair cut. First I photographed a little boy from Liam's kinder and his older sister, for their fathers day present. After that I called the hairdresser and luckily they could fit me in. Three and a half hours later (an aromatherapy head/neck massage, shampoo, cut, blow dry, colour, shampoo, another head/neck massage, bit more of a trim, blow dry and style) and.... ta-da - I'm well, much blonder than I was before. I like it, but it's very different. Might pop some more foils in if it doesn't grow on me this week, but I think it will be fine. How nice to have an afternoon of pampering. The last time I had the works at the hairdresser, I left Liam (yes Liam, not Ethan!) at home in the jolly jumper with Brett's parents! Had a new hairdresser, who was just gorgeous - so helpful. After a little bit of the "I know you're face from somewhere" we realised her son and Liam did swimming at the same time (different groups, but right next to each other) and we'd occassionally chatted.
Have kinder photos to get printed, one set of proofs to deliver, and two completed orders to deliver. After that lot I think I deserved a little pampering LOL.
