Christmas rundown 2007

Christmas eve the kiddos did the Reindeer food as usual, but this time Ethan joined in a bit more. I can hardly believe his piccies from last year he was wearing a bonds wondersuit! I couldn't get regular glitter so we had to go with some star shaped sequin type glitter. Looks good though and seemed to do the trick because....

Santa came! After staying up till 2am, (and even sneaking in after Santa had been to take a piccie of the tree ;) ) we were woken at 5.30am by Liam SCREAMING at our bedroom door "ETHAN'S GOT A NEW BIKE!". Brett and I staggered blurry eyed to the tree to see our precious boy discover his stash, and share in his excitement. He got just what 'he's always wanted', Cars racetrack, Bumble Bee Transformer and Ben 10 watch (Omnitrix) and a few other bits and pieces. Ethan woke at 7am, we know better than to wake him before he's ready (bit like his mumma LOL) His main pressie was a bike! I'm so glad Santa thought of this, as it will be so handy when we ride to school next year ;) Well I'll walk, but the boys will ride. Ethan's is a 2wheeler with training wheels, and a steerable handle, so I can hold the little daredevil back as he tries to bolt down the hill we live on. Benson got Watermelon, and seemed very pleased with that. That Santa beard thing in Ethan's mouth is a lolly pop.

We had both the Toland and Hewlett families here this year. The kids had such a great time. Everyone helped out, and it was just a very relaxing day. Piccies here are the cousins all opening their pressies. Bit of a five minute frenzy, but they were all so excited, who could blame them. My sister made that gorgeous gingerbread house, it even had stained glass windows from melted lollypops, and she also decorated the Christmas cake. If you need a decorated cake, let me know! She's ace :) Some cuppies I made. Chocolate cakes with mint icing. Mmmmm, yummy. Got the holly idea from Nat and the SoF girls, who are all cupcake OBSESSED at the moment LOL. And my SIL made pudding and reindeer chocolate crackles. They are so cute!

Mum bought around a pinata two days before, and Brett hung it from the pergola. THAT was fun. The kids had an absolute ball, the adults couldn't stop laughing, and the Daddy's were all coaching along their kiddo's like they were standing on the side of a sporting field. Lots of laughter. Will be doing this one for sure from now on. (Ignore Liam's black socks and shorts! He dressed himself, and I was too busy to worry about it)

I just had to take a piccie of my neice Bethany flaked out in my Dad's arms, and after everyone had left, Ethan was the same. Love the bottle hanging out of his mouth. He'd had a WHOPPER of a meltdown a little earlier. WHOPPER! Ask my neighbours LOL they actually called over the fence because they thought something was wrong! Just too much sugar, and too much excitment, and not enough sleep. A bath always fixes him up though. Water therapy ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful day with the people that you love! We are off camping in a few days, so may not be back online for a while. When I do get back I'm having a Stampin Up demo, so drop me an email if you want to come! Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2008!

It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas Katie. The kids grow up so much in the 12 months, that you really see it Christmas to Christmas. Thanks for your email, I really appreciated it.
