I was having a lovely time, when...

Ethan has an appointment with his surgeon on Friday, so I swapped his childcare day for today. Liam was at school, the house was quite and I was having a lovely time scrapping away... the the phone rang. It was Liam's school. He's not well. I went and got him, called the dr as we walked across the school ground back to the car. (LOL it cracks Brett up that I know the Dr's number by heart). They could get him in if we came straight away. We did the bolt to childcare, grabbed Ethan and tossed him into the car (YKWIM!) and headed straight to the Drs. My poor little chicken has a double ear infection and tonsillitis :( So he wasn't kidding this morning when he said he had a headache and didn't feel well :( Mean mummy checked his temp and sent him to school anyway :(

Looks like he's be home with me now though for the next day or so anyway. He's all set up with this antibiotics, and his warm honey lemon drink.

And good news for the day: Remember the missing battery. The $80 battery I had in my camera when I sent it in to be repaired. The battery that was missing when they sent the camera back to me. The one I called and asked them to post back to me. The one they said they didn't have, and was never in the camera. Their paperwork said it was never in the camera, so that IS right! No other way about it. And they know it's not there, because "they haven't seen a spare battery around". Last night while I was putting away the dead parts they had taken out... or at least deciding whether to actually put them away, or throw them out... I found the letter I sent up with it. It said on there that I was sending in: 1. The camera body, and 2. The battery. They had read this letter to read the problems and had put it in the bag with the broken parts. But didn't make any comment about the battery not being in there. So I tried again today to talk to them. I got pretty much the same response. Then I asked her if the D70 I borrowed had a battery in it when I borrowed it. She said it didn't. It did. A grey battery. Mine are black. Long story short, she went and checked the shelf... and low and behold... there is a black battery there that doesn't belong to any of their cameras. It's on its way home now :)

And... I do have to buy a new printer, but at least I can get it back on my tax.

The good roll is comming back this way, and baby I am READY to jump on LOL!!

Oh Katie.......hope your week improves for you...poor Liam.....not nice!
I have to take my camera back to Ted's tomorrow afternoon as something has broken off the flash that holds it down...it must have happened in the carry bag as I've put it down or something as I don't know how anything could have come off....I can see a bit of what looks like broken plastic....anyway...wish me luck as it;s still under warranty...in fact I had the warranty extended when I brought it before Christmas.

I hope Liam is feeling better soon. I too have had a bad week of luck, not only did I crash my car, but today they seem to have lost my car after it had been towed away????? It managed to make its way to Cheltenham when the requested repairer was in Morning.....Go figure. If you get a good roll, send some good luck my way too please.

Anyway, glad that you are getting your battery back that they didn't have.
