Can you believe there are still more to come!

These have been waiting to be scanned for quite a while now, so I'll get them done first. But I also scrapped on Friday night. I was reading Sam D's blog and read about her claiming back her Friday nights for scrapping, and I realised that's what I need to do to. Since CTYD closed I don't have a regular scrapping time. I'll have to change that.

So the first layout 'Create Art' was the one and only layout I did at the Scrap Pile get together at Scrappy Hollow at the end of Feb, when Cass and Kim came down to Melbourne. Fun day. I fell in love with this paper, and had to dig out some photos with orange in them. Lucky I had these of Liam with his funky orange pants on. They are so cool. Love them. Even if some may think they look like clown pants LOL. 'Some' just don't know cool when they see it! LOL

This one has been sitting in my 'to scrap' pile for ooooh about 12 months... maybe 18 months. Yep, 18months would be like it. Ethan was asleep in the pram at the beach early one morning, while I was taking pics of Liam in the glorious morning light. A lovely elderly couple walking their dog, asked if I'd like them to take a pic of the two of us together. I'm never in front of the camera, so it was nice to be able to make the effort. I'm not thrilled with the pic of me (look at those post-baby thighs LOL), but hey, it's an important addition to my little mans album, and I love the way Liam is snuggling in to me. I know the day will come when he won't want to be seen in public with his mumma, so I'll take it while I can get it!

Santa bought Ethan this fantastic wooden fruit set, where the two halves of the fruit are velcroed together and you cut through the velcro with a wooden knife. He LOVES them. He call's fruit Foosh, or Froosh. I didn't have enough O's, but hopefully it will still jog the memory in years to come.
I'm pretty sure this one is straight IRL too, and it's a funky scan, but you never know ;)

Remember the pirate treasure hunt? He does, he's still carrying the treasure map around ... still! He LOVES it. Here are the pics from then (it was Australia Day morning)
The first day of school. I was determined to scrap this not only during the first year of school, but during the first term if possible. I made it :) Thanks to the retreat. Thanks Shirlz too for the pencil idea. You are a wealth of great ideas!

So all but the first layout were done at the retreat.

I'll share one of Friday nights layouts soon. The other is my DT for Scrapbook Station, so ya'll have to hang on a little longer (hmmm too much time on American photography forums... Ya'll!) LOL
