photos and things

Catch up on Australia Day. After the treasure hunt we headed over to Mornington. Had lunch at Boyz for Breaky - YUM! My hubby - the social butterfly - knows everyone! When ever we go anywhere it takes ages with him stopping to say hi to people. LOL Better than having no friends though hey ;) After lunch we walked over to the park. The Wiggles were there, but it was too crowded to get a photo. Boys loved it. Liam chose to ride the rocket, so Brett went in with him.
When he came out he said "mum did we really go up to the moon?"
"Oh yeah! Sure did" I said
"REALLY!!!!! Don't lie to me." He said LOL how cute.
Put me in a bit of a spot though. We are working telling lies at the moment, and the importance of telling the truth. So I couldn't very well lie to him. So I said no, not really, then quickly changed the subject to saying I bet it really felt like it though, and getting him to tell me all about it. So he wasn't disapointed.

Yesterday, while B was working in the garden, Liam pulled the bean bag out to the porch and was sitting there quietly. I asked him what he was doing and he pointed to Benson... hidden underneat Liam's Batman cape (keeping warm). We also spend a good portion of the morning drawing pictures (and encouraging Ethan to draw on paper, not the floor!) Liam drew great pictures, copying photos from around the house. He drew Brett and I on our wedding day; a family portrait we had done when Liam was 12 months old; me with Ethan in my tummy; and the characters from Monsters Inc. amongst other things. I'm going to staple, bind, or tie them onto a little book for him. He's so proud. He doesn't usually enjoy drawing much, and his fine motor skills need a bit more developing, so I'm really pleased when he gets into drawing and cutting and enjoys it.

Recognise these spunky boys? They're Jody's boys, Casey and Jamie. I've loaded more into the photo blog so click here to see more.

I had the pleasure of photographing this little girl when she was 12 months old, and now look! She's about to be a big sister (actually, she is now a big sister) More here too.

And these two gorgous boys! The whole family was just beautiful. I love my job. I've never had to work with a family that isn't great. It's so nice to have a job where everyone is happy.

Loving the photos Katie. Especially those belly shots. Hope my belly looks that good. May have to get some serious editing done in Photoshop if I let you take belly shots of me!!

Looks like Ethan knows the joy of lounging in a bean bag, my kids loved them when they were little.
