Scrapanalia Retreat

A quick post tonight as it's late and I need to get some sleep before work. The retreat was brilliant! Jess and Donna did such a wonderful job, it was so well planned; the accomodation was brilliant, the scraproom was beautiful, lots of space and gorgeous views; the prizes and giveaways were so generous!; the food was delicious, and there was just SO much of it. Seriously, I am a big snacker, and I think my total snacking for the whole weekend was about 4 mm's! Between huge breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, dinners, and the yummy cakes Donna's mum had prepared there was NO room left in my tummy that's for sure! The staff at the winery were lovely, helpful and kind. The company was wonderful. So many beautiful women, almost all of them I had never met before, and it was really nice to meet them. It took three hours to get there including a little detour to pick up Megan, and pretty much the same to get home. It was well worth every km! And it was fun to drive with Megan. We LEARNT A LOT! And not all of it was about scrapbooking!!! I tell you we laughed non stop the entire weekend! Unfortunatly Sofi couldn't make it today... we missed you Sofi! :( Hope everything is OK.

I completed seven layouts and one BTP item (well two including Donna's class). These are the first two I did on the Friday night.

Thanks Jess, and Donna! The hard work, dedication, organisation and ideas you guys put into the retreat sure paid off. It was a roaring success and I know lots of people (if not all) can't wait for the next one!

Thanks guys
xx

Unfortunatly about half an hour after I got home DH started to come down with the gastro bug too :( Lets hope this is the end of it.

It was such a ball hanging out with you for the whole weekend. Your photography class was really great and I learnt a lot.

Hope Brett gets better real soon and that you or the boys don't get it again.
