First speech session

I haven't had a spare minute all day, and now I'm too tired to scrap tonight, so I'll have to wait a while on his hump.

Felt like I woke early this morning, but while in the kitchen preparing breaky for my STARVING children... really they are like animals in the morning! Nag, nag, nag... but hey what's a mum for LOL. Anyway... back to the topic, as I was preparing breaky I noticed the time on the oven was almost 8.00, not too early after all. Went about my morning the with the usual, cook, clean, washing collected and on etc, all that goes in to getting two kids in the car and on the way to Liam's first speech session. Got half way there and realised I'd forgotten my purse and phone.... grrrr. Turn around and head back home! Now we are really going to be late! Dash into house, grab phone and purse, dash back into car (builders across road again think I'm am crazy, forgetfull, screaming woman!LOL) Look at time on phone, realise I'm not late, infact I'm an hour early... KITCHEN CLOCK NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!!!!

So instead of letting the boys out of the car, decide to head to Rosebud to pay layby, then back past home to Frankston for speech, then re-dress Liam in carpark - Lord knows why that boy has to take his socks and shoes off in the car and throw them all over the place. Finally make it inside and wonder boy does fantasticly brilliant! So proud of my little man, we are working on 'k' at the moment and he did so well. Jenni thinks he is so close to getting it all, and thinks by next session he will be ready to start another sound along with the 'k'. We have some fun games to play, and she has made him up a scrapbook to keep his bits and pieces in, which is covered in stamps so far. I'm feeling really good about it all, and hopefully Liam will continue to too.

Next home for luch, quick re-pack, about to head out door to pre-school and turn around to find Liam dressed in his bathers! Re-dress and about to head out door second time... Ethan poops! Change him, finally find his shoe, and rush out door. Luckily we had a little time up our sleeves. Drop Liam off and finally catch up with Sally for coffee. Ethan fell asleep in pram, so Sal and I sat and chatted for the entire three hours Liam was in pre-school, headed back up to get him, overheard kinder-mums chatting about Target sale... head to Target and layby some yummy woolly cardies... perfect for work, 30% off, then 15% off that. Gotta love that! (my work is so cold). Home, dinner, need to clean, and again, this mornings washing is still wet in the machine.

.... are you still reading? Boring post hey.

Katie..............I'm tired just reading this girl! Sounds like a normal day in the life of a mum to me!
Glad to hear that Liam is going well with his speech!

I hated kinder years 'cause you never seem to get much done in between pick ups. I had kinder 3 years in a row at one stage as my boys are so close in age.
It gets better though......

Congrats to Liam for his good work with the letter k. It's great that he's enjoying it too.
:) I love reading about your day - all those re-dresses - sounds like my day when Jamie has nappy dramas. Three changes of clothes just to get out the door and then you're late. Oh the joy.
That sounds like a great Target special. We had 15% off everything in store today and I picked up a cot mattress. Would have been better if it had've been 30% off first ;)
