Last nights loot

I have fiddled a little with both of these today. I thought I had them finished, but this morning I decided they needed a little something extra.

This one I finished before the pizza even arrived! That's a record for me, although I know my pages are simple. It's making the decisions that takes the time. I had these pretty much planned beforehand. I have had these BG papers in my stash since this range was released. I decided I needed to use up some of the tags, and although I didn't plan on using a newborn photo, it's what the papers were calling out for. I'm happy with this one, comfortable... it's very me. I've posted this photo here before, it was taken on Valentines Day 2005, the day Ethan was due to be born. He was nine days old. Such a wrinkely little thing, he lost weight in-utero, and was our little saggy, baggy elephant when he arrived.

Should also add that I got the title from somewhere but can't remember where. Originally I had 'love', then in those sleepy, early morning hours when I'm dreaming scrapbooking, I remembered this title.

When I left last night this one a really neat, clean layout, but this morning it just wasn't sitting well with me. So out came the trusty old sewing machine, and I messed up the edges a bit. I also coloured in the middle of the KI rubons, it was quite hard to see them before... and I added the tag at the top. The dark bit in the middle of the flower at the bottom is an MM washer "little one". That's been in my stash since I was pregnant with Ethan. I was saving up my shopping for a bit of a spree when we discovered whether we were having a boy or a girl... I went boy shopping obviously.

So last night was fun, it was a quiet night. It was good to catch up with Jane again, and meet Lisa, and Leigh and Lou were also able to make it. Lou threw everything together very last minute as I was about to leave when she called me. I sugested she come too and she did :) Good night, good company and yummy pizza!

Hope your girls had a good time at Chaddy with Zina today!

Hah! I just used up some of the SweetPea Jack pps on a layout this weekend too :). I love the title of that LO. I might have to pinch that.
I adore the bottom "Always be kind" layout. I love the bits you messed up, so I'm glad you didn't leave it neat and clean.

Hi Leanne - I thought you were another Leanne, and replied to her! She didn't know what I was talking about LOL!
The rubons are basic grey, I think they are called flourishes. You can get them in black or white. I love them :)
