Look who I photographed this week!

I went from having two shoots booked this weekend, to having none! Everyone is sick at the moment, which is no good. Hope they are all on the mend. Saturday rained all day anyway, so it would have been bad, seeing as both were outdoor shoots. Anyway, I always think things happen for a reason, and when I get a cancellation, I just think I'm supposed to slow down for a little while and enjoy my family; take the time to catch up. Friday night we went out to dinner with Mark and Shannon. Had a delish dinner - Greek, then went to see Knocked Up. Loved it. Loved the whole night. Fantastic company, fantastic food, fantastic movie. Then Saturday... well the boys stayed Friday night at Brett's parents, and I woke to an empty house. I can't remember the last time I woke up like that. It was heaven! It was also 11.00! I thought Brett had gone to work, but he called a few minutes after I woke to tell me he was at his parents getting the boys. Once he came home we went into the city, to the boat show. For me, going to a boat show is about as exciting as my hubby would find a Scrapbooking show. But it was nice to be together. Liam and Ethan both loved seeing all the boats. I think it's born into them. It's in their genes. Made some yummy pizzas for dinner, and watched a movie together. Then today we hit the Mornington Market. Did a little fruit/veg shopping then came home, and had a bit of a lazy afternoon. Seeing as I had not photos to take, I decided to do a few spur of the moment pics of my own kiddos - Imagine that! Now, I often get asked who the hardest kids to photograph are, and let me just say, without a shaddow of a doubt... these boys are! Wanted to try out some new backdrops, and the boys just happened to have the right coloured clothes on. I love the brown on Liam. He looks good in brown. Ethan looks great in orange. I don't have orange. Maybe I should get orange! I was going to use my pink in last weeks shoot... but: I was setting up, and had the pink out all perfect, had all the bits and pieces I needed all in the studio. Went out to brush my teeth, and as I came back I walked into the kitchen to see Ethan standing there with a bottle of bubble mix. An empty bottle! I just knew what he'd done, so I bolted back into the studio to find a big spill of bubble mix all over the middle of my backdrop! Ahhhh, we had about 3 minutes to try and get it cleaned up. Brett and I were working like crazy with sponges and hair dryers LOL. In the end we just decided to throw it in the wash, and move on! I've lived without pink long enough. Another shoot wasn't going to hurt. Ahhh, you have to laugh. It's not the end of the world ;)

(was nearly the end of Ethan's world *giggle*)

So anyway... my boys .....
