Exhausted

My mind is telling me I need to get work done.
My heart is wanting to keep people happy, by getting everything done properly and on time.
My body is telling me it has no more to give!
I can't remember the last time I was in bed before 1.30am... it was more than a week or two ago. And 2.30am has not been too uncommon.
I feel like I'm comming down with the flu, I ache all over, I can't see straight, my balance is off and my head is spinning, and I feel like I'm getting an ear infection.
If only editing photos was as easy as downloading them, choosing the best and printing them... it's not! It's HOURS of work for each shoot. HOURS.

I always do this too myself. Push myself constantly. Push on past tiredness. Then about once a month the total exhaustion hits and I just can not push on. I have nothing left. I crash. That is tonight.

Tonight the body wins!

Good Katie! You NEED to take a break girl!! You work too hard, as well as looking after those gorgeous boys of yours. Take a much needed break, refresh your body, and it will give you more tomorrow...

Have a great weekend!

I agree with Nat - TAKE A BREAK KATIE!!! You are just 1 woman, and can't do the jobs of millions!

Take care of yourself. *hug*

You poor girl Katie ...just let the body win...and take a rest.... hopefully you are feeling more refreshed tomorrow. It is always worse at this time of the year...I think we all have unreasonable expectations on ourselves...

hang in there Katie in a few weeks it will be over! I remember when I was painting plates, the chrissy rush was awful, but at least it had an end. And next year you wont have travelling to work to contend with either.

It was one of the hardest words I ever had to learn - but it's NO. At some point you just realise that by running yourself into the ground you are not only cheating your family out of 100% of you - more importantly you are cheating yourself! Take care of yourself #1 and you have 100% to give to those important things in your life.

Hope you had a good weekend!

Katie, I hope you've had a good weekend, and taken a break. I'm with Jane, when I edited 300 photos recently, I kept thinking how long you take to edits your shoots. Especially using the cloning too!

Take time out, and enjoy this time of year with the family. By the way, the Chrissy layouts are adorable.

Enjoy a break, but I have to say all that work at editing your photos certainly pays off as they are always stunning! At least all that time is well spent!
